Eliminating the need for toilet, which is one of the most important achievements in the development process, is referred to as “toilet training” in many sources. Contrary to popular belief, this stage represents a highly sensitive process that is critical for child development. It is important to manage this stage correctly in order not to create any traumatic experience or to create any negative effects on the children’s subconscious. Training on Toilet Problems in Children includes explaining the physical and psychological development process of children starting from infancy, how to meet the toilet needs individually, and the problems and solutions they may encounter during this process. Also, it is aimed in this session that families create permanent solutions to problems they have difficulties in coping with.
